Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking an Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 school year.
CCA is a fully accredited, classical, non-denominational Christian school serving students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade located in historic Abingdon, Virginia. Our mission is to provide an excellent, Christ-centered, college-preparatory education for the children of Southwest Virginia and Upper East Tennessee.
Our ideal candidate would display an undeniable love for Christ, students, and athletics. We are seeking a strong leader who can cultivate meaningful relationships with our students, coaches, and families while overseeing and developing our athletic programs. Responsibilities include coordinating athletic schedules and events, supervising and supporting coaches, maintaining athlete eligibility and required records, coordinating officials and transportation, overseeing athletic equipment and uniforms, and promoting a culture of Christ-centered character, teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence. A bachelor’s degree is required, and previous experience in athletic administration, coaching, education, or a related field is preferred.
