Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking an Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 school year.

CCA is a fully accredited, classical, non-denominational Christian school serving students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade located in historic Abingdon, Virginia. Our mission is to provide an excellent, Christ-centered, college-preparatory education for the children of Southwest Virginia and Upper East Tennessee.

Our ideal candidate would display an undeniable love for Christ, students, and athletics. We are seeking a strong leader who can cultivate meaningful relationships with our students, coaches, and families while overseeing and developing our athletic programs. Responsibilities include coordinating athletic schedules and events, supervising and supporting coaches, maintaining athlete eligibility and required records, coordinating officials and transportation, overseeing athletic equipment and uniforms, and promoting a culture of Christ-centered character, teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence. A bachelor’s degree is required, and previous experience in athletic administration, coaching, education, or a related field is preferred.

We are seeking a strong, relationship-oriented leader to oversee and advance the school’s fundraising and development efforts, with a primary focus on leading and managing our capital campaign. Responsibilities include developing and implementing fundraising strategies, cultivating major donors and community partnerships, coordinating fundraising events and grant opportunities, overseeing donor stewardship, and working closely with school administration and the Board of Directors to advance the school’s mission and long-term vision. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Previous experience in fundraising, capital campaigns, nonprofit development, or a related field is preferred.

Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking Girls and Boys Basketball Coaches for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions will work with student-athletes in grades 6–12.

Our ideal candidate would demonstrate a strong Christian faith and a desire to mentor student-athletes both on and off the court. Responsibilities include planning and leading practices, developing fundamental basketball skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, supervising athletes at practices and games, and providing a safe, positive, and Christ-centered athletic environment.
